Add notes on the motivations and challenges of the early settlers from the slides and while watching Story of US: Rebels, up to minute 19:00. 

You should have at least five motivations and five challenges.

Are all sources reliable?  Today we learn about how to source documents by investigating: 
Did Pocahontas save John Smith’s life by protecting him from her tribe?

Use the document "Jamestown, Did it happen?" to read the documents, answer the questions, and complete an ARE statement.  Below is the video clip for questions #1-3.
