Week of 4/13
This week is on your own.
I will host a class session to talk about the film on Wed/Thurs to help how to respond to others in the online discussion. Will be the first 20 min in the block. Go to Google Classroom for the link.
In our next unit, we are investigating how the enslavement of people affected the economy, politics, and structure of society in the United States for generations. First, let's investigate how enslavement affects people.
Part A
All assignments are in the "Classwork" section of Google Classroom.1) Watch 2 videos on Human Rights and respond to the question in Google Classroom. Don't forget to submit. (Due Tuesday, 20 pts)
2) Watch at least 30 min, but I hope you watch more of the video "The Found List."
3) Review the discussion prompts.
On FlipGrid, respond to at least 2 prompts from different topics of "Human Rights," "Human Trafficking," "The Power of Education," or "Social Movements."
State the topic and the question. Use examples from the film as evidence.
Make sure each question is from a different topic. Two questions total.
(Due Tuesday, 60 pts)
Part B
4) Respond to 2 different people on their post. I will attach a guide on how to respond on Wednesday.
(Due Thursday, 20 pts)
